PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare earth system magnetic particle powder which is excellent in oxidation stability and corrosion resistance, and to provide a bonded magnet which is excellent in mechanical strength and corrosion resistance using the rare earth system magnetic particle powder. SOLUTION : The bonded magnet consists of surface modified rare earth system magnetic particle powder wherein each particle surface of the rare earth system magnetic particle powder is coated with a paste agent and carbon black attaches to the coating paste agent, and is formed by dispersing the surface reforming rare earth system magnetic particle powder for a bond magnet wherein the total attaching weight of the carbon black is 1 to 100 pts.wt. to the rare earth system magnetic particle powder of 100 pts.wt., and the surface modified rare earth system magnetic particle powder for the bonded magnet in a binder resin.
