PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a solid-electrolyte fuel cell whose current collection characteristic can be enhanced by restraining the decomposition of a current collector made from an LaCrO3 type material. SOLUTION : A solid-electrode fuel cell has an air electrode 32 formed on one side of a solid electrolyte 31 and a fuel electrode 33 formed on the other and has a current collector 35 electrically connected to the air electrode 32 or the fuel electrode 33 and exposed to the outside. In this case, the current collector 35 is composed chiefly of perovskite type complex oxides containing at least La and Cr as metal elements and contains at least one kind selected from Y and rare earth elements. A ceramic cover layer 50, made from either LaCrO3 containing at least one kind selected from among Mg, Sr, and Ca, or ZrO2 or CeO2 containing at least one kind selected from among Y, rare earth elements, Ca, and Mg, or CeO2 alone, is formed on the exposed surface of the current collector 35.
