INDOOR PROLIFERATION METHOD OF POECILOCORIS LEWISI

PURPOSE : An indoor propagating method of poecilocoris lewisi is provided to achieve the mass production thereof, to systematize its whole year breeding, and to preserve other natural resources. CONSTITUTION : Feed, for example, peanuts, is supplied day by day while changing the old feed into the new one per three or four days, at this time a small amount of nutritive element being added to the feed. In order to raise the total amount of oviposition and an incubation rate, female and male poecilocoris lewisi are prepared and copulated at a ratio of 1 to 1 in a breeding box, and then the female poecilocoris lewisi is repeatedly copulated four weeks later after first copulation. The breeding box is continuously maintained at a temperature of 25deg.C throughout the year.
