PURPOSE : A cover method for a soil structure using a light earth material obtained from a waste styrofoam particle is provided to improve the strength, earthquake-proof property and anti-frost property of the earth material and operation efficiency. CONSTITUTION : The cover method for a soil structure comprises the steps of : digging the ground; locating a light earth material(11) on the finally digged surface as a bedding material for the soil structure; embedding the soil structure(13) on the bedding material; disposing a flowing light earth material(12) to the height of the embedded soil structure(13); disposing the light earth material(11) after one day from the disposition of the flowing light earth material(12); leveling and rolling; and covering a cover earth(14) and leveling. The cover method is characterized in that the light earth material(11) comprises the soil sands generated in a construction site, such as sands, weathered soils and cohesive soils and 50-150% of waste styrofoam particles based on the volume of the soil sands, to which 3-9 wt% of a cement as a solidifier and 1-3 wt% of an stabilizer composed of a fly ash and an alcohol ethoxylate based on the weight of the soil sands are added, to be the water content of 10-20%; and the flowing light earth material(12) comprises the soil sands generated in a construction site, such as cohesive soils and 50-150% of waste styrofoam particles based on the volume of the soil sands such as cohesive soils, to which 3-7 wt% of fly ash based on the total weight of the material is added, to be the water content of 40-60%.
