HERBAL SPORTS DRINK

PURPOSE : A sports drink containing a herbal extract effective for the increase of endurance, stamina and exercise capacity is provided which improves five internal organs, promotes circulation of Qi(vital energy) and blood through proliferation of lymphocyte cells, control of NO in macrophages, nitric oxide synthase(iNOS) gene expression and cytokine expression while supplying water, salt, etc. CONSTITUTION : A mixture of 3 to 5 parts by weight of Lycii Fructus, 5 to 7 parts by weight of Nelumbinis Semem, 2 to 4 parts by weight of Astragali Radix, 3 to 5 parts by weight of Codonopsis lanceolata, 7 to 9 parts by weight of Cuscutae Semen and 1 to 3 parts by weight of Amomi Semen is extracted with 5 to 15 times of purified water for 2 to 4hr and then filtered. Then, the filtrate and residue are extracted for 2 to 4hr and filtered with a celite filter layer. The product can contain 5 to 7 parts by weight of Codonopsis pilosula.
