PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a battery life extension and a battery activating resin composition that can prolong the useful life of various batteries.SOLUTION : This is the battery life extension and the battery activating resin composition which contains a thermoplastic resin and a battery activating material and contains at least zirconium oxide and thorium dioxide as a battery activating material, and furthermore contains as a battery activating assistant one kind or two kinds or more selected from aluminum oxide, silicon dioxide, iron oxide, oxide containing rare earth element, tourmaline, and phosphorus compound.
