AUSTENITIC STAINLESS STEEL FOIL

Provided is an austenitic stainless steel foil having excellent fatigue strength. This austenitic stainless steel foil according to the present disclosure contains, in mass%, not more than 0.150% of C, not more than 1.00% of Si, not more than 2.00% of Mn, not more than 0.045% of P, not more than 0.0300% of S, 16.00-20.00% of Cr, 6.00-10.50% of Ni, not more than 0.100% of N, 0-2.50% of Mo, 0-0.12% of Nb, 0-1.00% of V, 0-0.50% of Ta, 0-0.10% of Hf, 0-0.50% of Co, 0-0.0100% of B, 0-0.0200% of Ca, 0-0.0200% of Mg, 0-0.0100% of a rare earth element, 0-0.010% of Al, 0-0.500% of Ti, 0-0.100% of Zr, and 0-3.00% of Cu, the balance being Fe and impurities. In an X-ray diffraction profile using CuKα ray, the half-value width Fw of a peak of {111} plane is greater than 0.366°.
