ADENO-ASSOCIATED VIRUS VECTORS TARGETED TO OLIGODENDROCYTES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide chimeric adeno-associated virus (AAV) capsids targeted to oligodendrocytes, virus vectors comprising the same, and methods of using the vectors to target oligodendrocytes. SOLUTION : A nucleic acid encoding an adeno-associated virus capsid comprises an adeno-associated virus capsid coding sequence that is at least 90% identical to : (a) the nucleotide sequence of a specific sequence; or (b) a nucleotide sequence encoding one of nucleotide sequences of specific sequences.
