PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a novel herbicide composition and weeding method.SOLUTION : A phytotoxicity reducing agent for herbicide is mainly composed of a compound represented by a formula (1), where A is a C-Chaloalkyl group or a C-Chaloalkoxy group, G is a carboxy group, R, Rand Rare hydrogen atoms. A weeding method uses the phytotoxicity reducing agent.
