PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an oxide superconductor having enhanced magnetic field property by introducing an artificial pin.
SOLUTION : The oxide superconductor has an oxide superconductor layer of a continuous perovskite structure containing rare earth elements, barium (Ba) and copper (Cu), the rare earth elements including a first element which is praseodymium (Pr), a second element of at least one of a group of neodymium (Nd), samarium (Sm), europium (Eu) and gadolinium (Gd), a third element of at least one of a group of yttrium (Y), terbium (Tb), dysprosium (Dy) and holmium (Ho) and a fourth element of at least one of a group of erbium (Er), thulium (Tm), ytterbium (Yb) and lutetium (Lu).
