Pump assemblies are already known, comprising a drive shaft (2) and a rotor (4) rotatably arranged in a pump stator (16) and driven by the drive shaft (2). The drive shaft (2) has an oblique sliding plane (5) which cooperates with the rotor (4) and which permits the rotor (4) to wobble about a drive axis (7) of the drive shaft (2) by the rotor axis (6) thereof. The rotor (4) has a toothing (11) on the end side thereof facing away from the drive shaft (2), which engages with a toothing formed on the pump stator (16). Work spaces are formed between the toothing (11) of the rotor (4) and the toothing of the pump stator (16) in order to pump pumping media. In addition, magnets (14) are provided, by means of which the drive shaft (2) can be driven in cooperation with a magnetic field of an electrical winding (15) of a stator (16). The magnets (14) are integrated in the drive shaft (2). If the diameter of the drive shaft (2) is not to be increased, this requires the use of very expensive permanent magnets with high magnetic energy density, in particular rare earth magnets. However, these magnets (14) are not stable in relation to an aqueous urea solution, such that an embodiment of the pump assembly of this type is not suitable for a urea solution application. According to the invention, the magnets (14) are provided on a magnet carrier (17) which is rotatably mounted about the drive axis (7), and which surrounds the drive shaft (2) in an annular manner and is mechanically connected to the drive shaft (2).
