The present invention is based on the fact that wormwood ash contains K_2O and P_2O_5 ingredients in quantity and thus can be used as a soft ivory white glaze raw material and contains a Fe_2O_3 ingredient in quantity and thus can be used as a colored and ivory white glaze material as well. The present invention includes manufacturing of a ceramic glaze composition based on mixing of the wormwood ash with feldspar, limestone, kaolin, and silica. According to the present invention described above, a wormwood ash-containing ceramic glaze composition manufacturing method is provided. When mixed with feldspar, limestone, kaolin, and silica, the wormwood ash exhibits a high level of reactivity in a plasticization process because of the amorphous characteristics of the plant ash. The wormwood ash has softness as a phosphorus-containing particulate material. The ceramic glaze composition using the wormwood ash exhibits a soft blue color and a native texture in a case where pottery for daily use is glazed with it. In addition, the present invention is capable of reducing environmental pollution because it reuses the waste wormwood ash that is discharged as a result of the use of Ganghwa lion foot-shaped mugwort in public baths and dry saunas. The present invention requires no process and cost for raw material pulverization into ash unlike in the case of other materials, and thus it is simpler in process and requires less cost than general glaze production methods.
