PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an electrode material for a lithium ion secondary battery, improved in dispersibility and adhesion of an electrode active material and a conductive material, and a method of producing the same.
SOLUTION : In an electrode material for a lithium ion secondary battery of the present invention, the surface of an electrode active material is coated with a carbonaceous film, the electrode active material being represented by general formula : LiFexMn1-x-yMyPO4 (where, M represents at least one selected from among Mg, Ca, Co, Sr, Ba, Ti, Zn, B, Al, Ga, In, Si, Ge, and a rare earth element, and 0≤x≤1.0, 0≤y≤0.14 and 0≤1-x-y are satisfied). The electrode material for a lithium ion secondary battery has an angle of repose of 35° or above and 50° or below.
