An alloy comprises (in wt.%) cobalt (22-26, preferably 22-23, more preferably 22), chromium (15-16, preferably 15-15.5, more preferably 15), aluminum (10.5-12), 0.2-0.6 (preferably 0.3-0.5, more preferably 0.4-0.5) of scandium and/or rare-earth element (preferably yttrium), optionally tantalum (0.5-1.5, preferably 0.8-1.5, more preferably 0.5-1) and remainder of nickel.
