PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an electrode material for a lithium ion secondary battery, a lithium ion secondary battery electrode, and a lithium ion secondary battery which enable the achievement of a high discharge capacity and a high mass energy density under a low-temperature or fast charge/discharge condition.
SOLUTION : An electrode material for a lithium ion secondary battery according to the present invention comprises a mixture including an electrode active material A including LiFexMn1-x-yMyPO4 (where 0.05≤x≤0.40, 0≤y≤0.14 and 1-x-y≥0, provided that M represents at least one element selected from a group consisting of Mg, Ca, Co, Sr, Ba, Ti, Zn, B, Al, Ga, In, Si, Ge and a rare earth element), and an electrode active material B including a lithium-containing metal oxide. In the electrode material, a volume change rate owing to the occlusion and releasing lithium ions by the electrode active material A is 6.2-8.3%.
