FIELD : chemistry.
SUBSTANCE : invention relates to the field of applied geochemistry and can be used in the search for mineral deposits, with predictive-geochemical mapping of closed and semi-enclosed territories on the basis of geochemical mapping data of the study areas and subsequent analysis of soil samples. Said method consists in sampling an illuvial horizon (B1) of soil weighing 50-60 g, from which a suspension is prepared and a fine particle fraction with a particle size of 2-35 microns and a weight of 2-3 g is extracted, which is dried at room temperature for at least 24 hours. Dry, finely dispersed fraction is applied to a glass pallet measuring 12×10×0.3 cm in an amount of not less than 200 squares. Dry fine-dispersed fractions of the samples are put into the squares of the pallets, which are analyzed for rare elements by laser ablation. After that, the content of the chemical elements in them is plotted by their area distribution maps and zones of anomalous contents of indicator elements are located on the maps, which are used to determine the presence of zones of ore mineralization, ore bodies and deposits of rare elements.
EFFECT : invention makes it possible to increase the accuracy and reliability of the determination of the content of rare and dispersed chemical elements in the study area, reduce the time of the analysis, increase the safety of personnel.
