METHOD OF RECOVERING RARE CELLS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare cell recovery method allowing the recovery of rare cells from a rare-cell-containing liquid at high yield. SOLUTION : The rare cell recovery method comprises : a capturing step of filtering a rare-cell-containing liquid through a filter having a plurality of through holes in the thickness direction and capturing the rare cells included in the rare-cell-containing liquid on one surface of the filter; a resin introduction step of introducing a photo-curable resin around the rare cells on the one surface of the filter on which the rare cells have been captured; a transfer step of curing the photo-curable resin introduced around the rare cells thereby transferring the rare cells to the photo-curable resin; and a recovery step of recovering the rare cells from the photo-curable resin which has been cured in the transfer step.
