PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide electroconductive ceramics which can further improve boat characteristics (a boat life, temperature rising properties on resistance heating, and wettability with respect to molten metal).SOLUTION : In the method of producing electroconductive ceramics, raw material powder containing, by mass, 30 to 60% titanium diboride (in which the content of oxygen is controlled to ≤0.7%), 15 to 70% boron nitride, 0 to 45% aluminum nitride and alkaline-earth metallic compounds by 0 to 5% expressed in terms of metal is molded, and is thereafter sintered at 1, 700 to 2, 200°C under the pressure of ≤30 MPa in a non-oxidizing atmosphere to control its relative density to ≥90%.
