PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To develop a microwave dielectric substance which is low in cost and high in performance, and can lower sintering temperature and bring a temperature coefficient close to zero.
SOLUTION : The microwave dielectric substance is obtained by adding colemanite as a firing temperature lowering agent to a ceramic dielectric composition. Further, the microwave dielectric substance is obtained by adding BaLa2Ti3O10 as a temperature coefficient improving agent to the ceramic dielectric composition. The sintering temperature can be lowered even by 100-150°C by selecting a homologous substance consisting essentially of AXR4Ti3+XO12+3X (A represents an alkaline earth metal element, R represents a rare earth element and composition ratio X is 0.5 < X < 5) as the ceramic dielectric substance and then, the equipment cost and the energy cost are reduced because a low temperature sintering furnace can be used. Also, the temperature coefficient is brought close to zero, thereby obtaining the microwave dielectric substance having a microwave communication performance stable to the change of environment temperature.
